Rivals
Neden Stonegrinder – This merchant was the patron of the Champion that you killed. He was not happy that you were given to the Air Patrol, and would rather see you in chains and sold in the slave market to recoup his loss in investment.

Bio:

You inherited a small fortune after the passing of your Father, long widowed and without any other children. He and your mother built up a modest sized trading house with a lot of hard work and determination. Your mother passed away when you were young from complications arising from a miscarriage, your father threw himself fully into his business, leaving you to raise yourself through coin and comfort. After he passed you received the business and the money that came with it, but little sense in how to keep it. Hedonism and poor investments caused the money to dry up within years. Elven wine was replaced by colloquial vintage, which was replaced by ale, and then finally bathtub brew in the lowliest of establishments. Things bottomed out for you after a tavern brawl left a Champion of Travar dead and you in shackles. The braggart was a hot head that would not leave Tylda alone after she refused his advances, plus, the bastard pulled his blade first. Nevertheless, he was a Sponsored Champion whose patron was pleading for justice to the Arbiter, Ulvhina Re’, and you had little coin left to sway the judgment. Thankfully the Air Warden, Gardius Drimsby was there to offer you another choice besides exile or slavery. The writ was as official as it gets, and now you are an Air Marshal of Travar for the next 20 years of your life. Drimsby saw the potential in you early on, and pushed you to pursue a Discipline after hearing how you killed an Adept in combat having only the most rudimentary training with a blade. Now that you have completed your training, he is contemplating on letting you serve in other, more useful fashions than to just row an oar or tack a sail.

Allies
Air Warden Gardius Drimsby – The Air Wardens are the least well funded of Travar’s militias. Many of the Trading Houses air ships are faster and more durable than those of the Wardens, but they are the only vessels that are allowed to be armed as well as they are. Drimsby needs to get creative with his force to keep it running effectively so he pushes those with talent to take up various disciplines beyond Air Sailor, and then “loans” out their service for financial favors to the unit.

Malindria Matos – This free spirited Elf from the great Trading House Achura has also took notice of your talent as well. She has on a couple of occasions shared a bottle of ale with you over a funny story shared about some of the more prominent residents of Travar that you both have had run ins with. She is a supporter of the Air Patrol and the Wardens as well as someone that joins you occasionally on your duties.

Ghab Stormrider – This troll smuggler is known to the Air Patrol and Marshals as one of the most fearless smugglers in the skies. His vessel, the galley Forgotten Splendor, is always laden with hidden cargo and the routes that he takes are more than suicidal for less experienced air crews. You met him a few times when you were getting more reckless in your investments. Unlike most of your poor decisions, the enterprises with Ghab actually paid off for you. Now as an Air Marshal, you have facilitated an “understanding” with Ghab and Drimsby.
